Update: unfortunately, the last visit was more than disappointing. I went in for a routine check up and the car came back running rough. I took it back a few days later and they quoted me another $900, around $600 for a repair that they done themselves. When I questioned them about it, they said the part failed and was under warranty, so they would only charge for the labor. Took the car for a second opinion and they told me the part failed because it was installed incorrectly and cracked under pressure. Costly and dishonest. Rather than admit their mistake, they tried to convince me that I should pay twice for a job they were supposed to have done well. The fellows here are friendly, dependable, and take time to explain the work that needs to be done. I feel like I'm in good hands; the customer service is top-notch. They are truly focused on building relationships with their customers so that we keep coming back, and it's a great approach! My last mechanic retired but I'd been with him for 20 years. I'm sticking with Milt's.
