On Tuesday while I was attending an exercise class at In-Shape Lincoln Rd. a thief tried to steal the catalytic converter on my Honda CRV while it was parked near the Gym building.Fortunately they stopped due to someone coming to their car .I took my car to Milts by noon and even though their technician was very busy ,he did get my car repaired and I got it back by 4:30.Yeah for Milts garage and their excellent service.

My 2008 Volvo was totaled by my insurance co. in 2021, due to repairs costing more than they thought the car was worth. I got T-boned and the two driver side doors were crushed but no frame damage was found. Due to Covid 19 the value of the car was actually much more than allowed by the insurance co. I elected to have the car repaired anyway, therefore requiring safety inspections by the DMV prior to legally driving and insuring again. Milt's provided the inspection services and certificates. I got a free brief visual exterior light inspection prior to my appointment to identify cracked lense covers and burnt out bulbs that would be cause for failure of the exterior lighting inspection, so that I could replace bulbs etc. myself. A potentioal big savings for me if I chose to replace any nonfunctioning items myself. Which I took advantage of. A big kudos for them! From the street Milt's Service Garage does not look like much. Don't be fooled by first apearances, there is significantly more to the facility than can be seen from the street. The inspection service is not cheap, but is worth the price.

Very friendly and service oriented. They haven't cometed the work so I will update, but so far a GREAT experience.

I found Milt's through a recommendation from my insurance company, USAA. The recommendation was spot-on. When you call, they always(?) pick up, even if that is to say "Can you please hold, I have 2 people in front of you". Immediate peace of mind. When it comes to doing the work, they're super-direct if they don't think you need to do work. I.e. I had them inspect my breaks and they said I still have 50% life. I heard them on the phone with another customer telling them that they could do what the customer wanted, but the vehicle with (however many miles) should still be under warranty and they should probably check with the dealer to see if they could get the work done under warranty. Multiple times I heard them say "I could do the work, but I'd recommend you..." It was really cool to hear them be straight with people regarding recommendations. Finally, in my case there were some weird transmission issues and they suggested that my particular model had known issues and I should take it to the dealer to get addressed as part of my warranty. I am not taking my vehicles anywhere else as long as they are in business.
